I'm trying to find a list of reputable Chinese tube amp makers. I have friend going to Shanghai for 2 weeks and he's willing to hunt for a good deal on monoblocks.
These are the ones I could think of:
Shanling Ming Da (Meixing) Dared Antique Sound Labs
Other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Cesar, I can't think of any other manufacturers off the top of my head. I'll definitely keep this thread in mind as a surf around the web this weekend. Sounds like a great opportunity to pick up a nice amp for a good price!

Cool. Looks like Meixing and Shanling have local offices. Shanling has some really $$$ cd players.
I say an Njoeb on Audiogon for "cheap" but I had to hold myself back so I could spend the money first on a more powerful amp. I saw a posting for $295 OBO for a pair of ASL Wave 8's in stock condition. MSRP a few years back was $99 each. Somebody beat me by offering $350. Man, those keep their value for sure.
