The guy who originally posted this (NOT Chance33) is a moron!
I bought my entire Axiom suite unheard and, with the exception of a disconnected tweeter in my VP100 (through no fault of Axiom...I blame Fed Ex), they've performed from day one and have gotten better with age! Long live Axiom!!!

Perhaps we need to accept that people have different tastes, and form different opinions. While I do not agree with the sentiment, he is entitled to post his thoughts.

The moron that posted that was me. I have made a terrible mistake. When I reconnected my old speakers to these same electronics yesterday I realized I still had the same problems. It was in fact a problem with my very old preamp. I will be going back to AA to apologize to Ian and Axiom and eat a big plate of crow pie. I apologize to all for not looking into all the possibilities before posting that. I am ashamed and embarrassed.
