I know I saw a post about this a while ago but I can't seem to find it now. Someone was wondering if Axiom was going to be providing the new AV from Sherwood Newcastle. I was curious myself so I asked and got a response the next morning! Thank you Axiom and JC! I asked about the R-872 and was told that it is still in testing but the R-772 is almost done testing and should be available soon. Just a heads-up.

Also a quick question. If I wanted to send a sketch out of the room I plan on using what type of software would I use? I'd like to send out the layout I am planning for my listening/HT room.

Some folks have been using google sketchup and others have used spreadsheet programs.

I have a copy of the 972 brochure. The 972 looks like it will be one heck of a receiver.

oh... never mind. just noticed you were asking about the 872.

I was thinking of waiting for the 972 but it looks as if it's delayed again.
