If you recall a while back (October) I ran speaker wires in my new home. We'll we finally moved in and I am trying to get everything setup. A couple of questions.
1. It was suggested at the time that I run coax for the sub line. I did that, and now I have a coax plate on the wall. I need a cable or adapter that I can convert the coax connection to the one used for the sub. Home depot didn't think such a thing existed, but I'm sure there is a way to do this, as multiple people on here recommended it as a solution.
2. I need a wall plate on the front wall to terminate the connections for the rear speakers and the sub. I'll need another converter for the sub connection, the rear speakers I assume will connect into the back of the wall plate, and have another connection on the front of the wall plate to hook up speaker wire from there to the speakers. Any help on how this part would work would be appreciated as well.
Thanks for the advice. I'm going to see what I can dig up online too.

Are you using high-voltage posts for your sub (speaker posts)? If not, then you are using an RCA connector to a coax cable. Depending on the type of connector you have out of your wall (RCA or "cable"-style?), you may need a simple adapter that should be fairly easy to find.
If you are using high-voltage posts for your sub, then coax was not a good move for now (altough it will eventually be as you upgrade equipment).

Should be a regular RCA connector. Sub is a HSU VTF-2.
The connector comming out of the wall is a Coax cable style connector. So I need to go from the coax connector coming out of the wall to the RCA connector for the sub, and I need two of them, one for each end.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to see if I can dig those up on another site. They are out of stock until 3/18. I don't want to wait that long to have a work sub again if I can avoid it. Wait a minute, as I take a closer look I don't think this is the link to the right part. What I need is a F type Male to RCA Female It's like a cable outlet coming out of the wall, since they have already put a plate on it, so I need a F type male to go into that, and an RCA female coming out, so I can hook up the sub cable. Two of those and I should be good. The good news is that the part I found is in stock, so I should be all set. Now I just need the faceplate for the front and a hookup for the coax and two rear speakers coming out of the plate.
