Dude, you just posted this in another thread and had it answered. http://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=14777&Number=212729#Post212729In short, yes, people use it, and generally like it. It's not in wall rated. Speaker wire of the appropriate gauge makes no difference to the sound.

I don't think Axiom wire is rated for in wall use. As for how it sounds, well speaker wire has no sound to it.

the problem is not that you might hurt your wire, but the non wall rated wire may spark, causing a chemical reaction with your wire insulation and your house insulation... often leads to spontaneous combustion... flames have been documented to reach nearly 1200 deg F due to the chemicals burning off. check the link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P61CJ6OGK0

My question is where do you put it so you cannot see it? What are the percentage that something will happen? Wouldn't it be just as great of Chance it happening not in the wall?

I think that's still considered in-wall. If you're planning on doing something in-wall, get in-wall cable. It all sounds the same in any case.

I used 16/4 in wall for my speaker wire runs. I paid $.25 a foot.
