I don't remember a lot of what freaked me out as a child, but I do remember The Wizard of Oz was up there. But I mean, look at anything that's geared towards children. It's amazing I turned out as well-adjusted as I did. *bashes head against the wall*

The Wise Old Owl on Mr. Dressup used to scare the crap out of me. Ernie Coombs was so much better than Fred Rogers. Bren R.

Mr Dressup was classic. I can't compare him to Mr Rogers since I never saw his show. Never saw any U S television until I was in high school and by then I had other interests

I just noticed that medic8r had assigned Count to tomtuttle. I went with the Count because I quickly went through the thread and didn't see an avatar for him. Didn't mean to subvert the implied rules of the game. It's all in fun, after all...
Should I pick another? Hmm, Tom didn't play along with the avatar switch like I had hoped, so he loses points there. But he did post in character as the Count, so I guess he does have precedent. May I suggest Kruncher as Elmo? The world's most popular Muppet still needs representation here.
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

And I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Half the time on this forum I have no clue what is going on.
