Our Tickle Me Elmo used to work great, but doesn't seem to make it up all the time anymore. Maybe time for new batteries. Put Elmo between the EP500s, throw in U-571, crank it up and watch Elmo do his workout. Elmo likes explosions!

There goes JP, always with the pharmaceutical solution. Hey, it's what I know! Reminds me of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition: * War is good for business * Peace is good for business etc...

Doc has lost control of the process! Quick, break out the Dark Crystal avatars! Characters from the Dark Crystal were actually the first 'muppets' I thought of once I noticed that most of the 'Muppet Show' muppets were taken. As one of the earliest movies I remember seeing (I was 5 in 1982), the Skeksis made a big impression on me. However, I asked Wikipedia to make the call... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muppet"The puppet characters of Farscape, The Storyteller, Mother Goose Stories, The Hoobs, Construction Site and Dinosaurs, as well as from the films Labyrinth, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Buddy, The Country Bears and The Dark Crystal, are not considered Muppets, as they were made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, rather than by Henson's Muppet Workshop. The puppet casts of Puppet Up! and Tinseltown are also not considered Muppets as they were made by The Jim Henson Company after the sale of The Muppets in 2004. The Star Wars character Yoda was voiced by Frank Oz, one of Henson's regular performers, and is often referred to as a Muppet in media and reference works; he is not, however, a Muppet and Henson's organization was not involved in the character's design." Well, damnit. Can't fight city hall.

Does anyone else think that the gang at Axiom ever sits around and collectively shakes their heads at their customer base? I do. You clearly haven't seen Alan and Tom natter at each other about the times of old and ancient audio history. Then their customer base would think Axiom folk are kooky.

This has to be one of the funniest threads I have ever read. All I can do is laugh my fool head off thinking about a bunch of grown men sitting around writing this stuff. No where but here

Despite out ages (some of which are considerably younger than others), I doubt any of us would self-identify as grown men (unless a raise is in question)

This has to be one of the funniest threads I have ever read. All I can do is laugh my fool head off thinking about a bunch of grown men sitting around writing this stuff. No where but here You know, I used to read the Audioholics forum a lot; even have a handful of posts there. I've got over 500 posts on another software forum. We have the odd laugh over there, but I haven't found anywhere else that's as thoroughly entertaining (and even sometimes informative ) as this forum. I might not have that many posts, and I know that I don't post very often, but the regulars here absolutely crack me up day after day. You guys (and gals too) have the best atitudes.
