I am considering purchasing an Axiom system (M60's, QS8's and VP150). I just received some sample custom finishes to decide upon which finish.
Does anyone know if these represent the thickness of the speaker cabinets? The sample is about 3/8" thick, and I thought somewhere I read that the cabinets were 3/4" thick.
Thanks!

What would it matter if the cabinets WERE 3/8" thick? I've got the same settup you mention with an HSU VTF-2 sub and I can only tell you that once you hear them, you'll be amazed!

I would expect that a 3/8" speaker cabinet would have a relatively high resonant frequency. This would play havoc with the response of the overall speaker. The last thing you want is the cabinet colouring certain frequencies.
