The color on my 32" Sony is getting loopy. At the top of the screen there is a 1" bar that is discolored. Pictures with a great deal of red look pink within the bar. Those with blue look green. Please tell me it is something minor. Would hate to have to run out and buy a 57" widescreen.

Did you have a magnet near it?

Billy, I'll tell you it's something minor if the following works: turn on the set for about 2 minutes then shut it off for 15-20 minutes. Do this repeatedly to see if the discoloration disappears. If it does, it was just magnetized, which the automatic degausser which operates every time the set is turned on took care of. If it doesn't, your set is evil and sushi will tell you to get a front projector.
