Since my receiver is 3+ years old, I will be using 5 channel analgoue connections. Does anyone have any good value recommendations for suitable cables? thanks

All you need is coax with RCA ends. Online you can buy great/cheap products from Monoprice in about 3ft or more lengths. Just don't pay a lot of money locally from Monster cable.

I use these exact cables (link below) for the analog out section on my Blu-ray player. For a 5.1 system you will need 3 pairs. For a 7.1 system 4 pairs. http://www.monoprice.com/products/produc...&seq=1&format=2Cheeers!

I don't think I'd want any anal-goue near my receiver....
But to answer your question, nothing special is required, especially if you don't need long cable. Just 5 coax cables with RCA tips.

I think he meant anal-log. Hmmm, I think that's not much better.
