I know there are many threads out there discussing this very thing but none with my room size. Wondered if there was a concensus on which speaker to go with for a 60/40 HT to music split. My ceilings are 8 and a half feet high and I will eventually plan to get a sub for my system. We sit about 8-10 feet from the speakers in our TV room.
Heard both speakers and tended to like the M60 more but then again there was no sub to bring up the base level for the M22. In addition I've posed the question on the main board what sub to purchase with the m22/m60's as I live in Canada and was not sure if the shipping, and etc...were worth bringing in a svs or Hsu sub. There must be other viable alternatives for sale here in Toronto that would be comparable options to the Hsu and svs. Incidentally I have a Denon 1603 would that have any implications on the above. It is a 5.1ch with 80w @8 ohms and 110w at 6ohms.Thanks, GB

I'm 12x18 with M22 and the VTF-2 and the combo works great.

Good question, yes 2 open entrances on the same wall, at both ends of the wall. About 3' of opening both ends.

If i am imaging it right you are describing something akin to 2 double doors on both sides of the room.
For 1500 cubic feet m22's are the way to go. They can get plently loud. I definetely reccomend a good sub. By buying the m22's you can save some money and get that svs or hsu sub. i think HSU will be coming out with an vtf-1 sometime soon. what kind of shipping fees and taxes are you talking about
damn NAFTA

Shipping to Canada and duties as they are not USA made (I believe) and therefore not exempt from duties. I'm not sure how much, i have emailed them. Thanks

I believe that SVS are exempt from duties, with Hsu it depends on the model.
