One of the longest serving members has provided no information even after years of loyal posting.

I voted for the second option because it's quite obvious he values his anonymity and he might leave if he were forced to reveal info about himself. We all value his no-nonsense input here.

I think a better thread topic would be a contest to see who can come up with the best story about who JohnK really is. JohnK,himself, would be the judge, of course.

I voted option 4 myself.

BBIBH was a guy that used to prolificly post here in the early days of this MB. He hasn't been heard from since 9/02. He, like JohnK, was very knowledgable and had a "no-nonsense" approach to audio toys. My guess was based on thier simular posting styles.

Santa Claus has asked me to express his appreciation to those who have supported him thus far in this poll. As an inducement, he pledges that all those who support him and are dissatisfied with their Hsu or SVS subs will receive a Bose bass module on Christmas.

Good thing I just got done telling my wife Santa is real. A piece of Bose equipment...just what I always wanted!!

Alternatively, Peter could simply be one of my (I use the term loosely) multiple personalities. Note that we both showed up on the forums around the same time. Therefore, I may be the Easter Bunny in a different personality. However, this would require me to be aware of Peter as a multiple personality. In any case, I can confirm that Peter is not JohnK, therefore not Santa Claus, unless JohnK is another manifestation of my brain who simply discovered the forums earlier.

I always assumed that he was John Kricfalusi. Or at least I hoped that he was!
