Hello,
This is a question regarding the Denon 1802. I bought the M22ti, VP150, EP350 and QS8's and I am considering buying a Denon 1802. In looking at the reviews, it seems to be fine but it lists "bass management" as "none". I was led to believe by others that you could send the bass to the sub with this receiver. Can anyone tell me if this receiver is capable of sending the base to the sub and is this enough receiver for my new speakers?
Thanks

Your receiver is able to send bass to your sub.
As far as I know the "bass management" you mention has to do with the Denon's 6-channel direct inputs. This is were you'd hook up a DVD-Audio or SACD player. Your receiver won't be able to manage the bass from the 6-channel inputs, but keep in mind this only applies if you have a DVD-A or SACD hooked up.
As far as the Denon being enough receiver... I have my Harman Kardon AVR 520 receiver powering my VP100 & M3's and it's more than powerful enough. It's rated at 75W per channel and fills my 10' X 15' room with beautiful sound. I think the Denon is rated at 80W, so I think you'd be alright with it unless you have a huge space. Axiom's are very efficient speakers, so they don't need a LOT of power to hit a high SPL.
Good luck and happy hunting!

Big L is right. I have the 1602's powering VP150, M22, and M3, and I can't put the volume up to high because it hurts my ears. The 1602 is the little brother of the 1802, at 70 wpc. Yes, the 1802 is 80 wpc.
I would not worry at all powering any axiom speaker with a 1602, let alone an 1802.
