Anyone plan on pre-ordering this thing? It is claimed to have the same frequency response as the m80's. But, there aren't any specs about the dimensions. It looks like they just took the M80 and turned it on its side and reorganized the drivers, so it should have about the same dimensions as the m80's though I'm guessing. I'll have to see how much I can trade my vp150 in for.

I'm thinking hard about it but I need to get my HT receiver back from service. Currently using a stereo receiver so not much love for the center channel...

I just ordered one and the dimensions are the same as the M80.

I'll be placing my order in the next day or two ... the finance officer is out of town 'til tomorrow and I really *should* run it by her first, if she refuses I'll have to replace her.

And she knows I will.

Where's the info? Is there a web page up for it yet?

Thanks

Info hasn't been posted yet but there is a picture of it in the other thread. Physically and sonically it is supposed to be very very similar to the M80.

There's no page for it; it's currently only available through the owner's club. The specs I have seen are largely identical to the M80s, although the crossover points listed are different than the M80's listed ones. Here's what I've got:

Specs

Enclosure: Triple Vortex / Reflex
Max Amp Power: 400 Watts
Min Amp Power: 10 Watts
Freq Resp +/-3dB (Hz): 34 - 22kHz Graph
Freq Resp +3dB- 9dB (Hz): 25 - 22kHz
Impedance (Ohms): 4 Ohms
SPL in Room1w/1m(db): 95 dB
SPL Anechoic 1w/1m(db): 91 dB
X-Over 150 Hz & 2.7 kHz
Tweeter: Dual 1"
Woofer: Dual 5.25"
Sub Woofer: Dual 6.5"
Dimens. H W D (inches) 39.5" x 9.25" x 17"
Dimens. H W D (mm): 1003 x 235 x 432
Weight (lbs) 56.8 lbs
Weight (kg) 25.764 kgs

I've emailed for clarification on the triple vortex as there's no port on the front.

Ken, I'm guessing that the underside of the 180 is flat, and the top has a taper on it like the other centres?

Not from what Ian et al were saying when we talked about it last. I'm not certain about the final product.
