I felt the same way at first, but after thinking about it I can't complain. You may or may not remember that I had a rattle in my first ep500 right after I bought it. They thought the amp boot was leaking air so sent me a new one and I returned my old with no shipping charges. Did not fix the problem, so they sen me a new ep500 and I sent my old one back, no charges. I posted a video of the sound the ep500 was making and everyone agreed it did not sound normal. This sub does not do the same thing and I have a suspicion that it was excessive port noise due to internal vibrations, possibly a cabinet issue. I only heard the sound when things were pretty loud and I was playing scenes like darla fish tapping from nemo. I thought maybe I was just over driving the first sub but the folks at axiom said it shouldn't rattle at all, period.
Within the first Month or two of ownership my qs8 grill broke when I tried to remove it and they sent me a new grill free of charge. Sometime last year I had a bad rattle on an m80 which I pinned down to the grill that had a worn post that was rattling like crazy during certain frequencies. They sent me a new m80 grill free of charge and I hasn't rattled since.
Long story short, axiom has given me more than my fair share of free shipping so I don't mind paying it now.

As long as your happy. That's all that matters.
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.

Replacement Amp arrived today. I have not had any popping or humming from the old amp since the last occurrence but it has stopped working briefly once since. As of the time of swapping amps the old one seemed to be working ok though.
Upon removing the amp boot I noticed that the red speaker wire terminal that goes into the black boot was loose (the actual binding post itself was very wiggly.) This was the only thing I could see visually wrong with it and not sure if it is the cause of my random periods of "non subbage" or not.
New amp seems to be working just fine, hopefully this will be the end of my troubles. shipping my old amp back to the US depot tomorrow.
