Just a thought, but do B-stock items get used as floor models in stores? It most certainly wouldn't surprise me. If you mean floor models being sold as B-Stock, then yes. They are appropriately labeled on sale as "open box" or even stated as a floor model. They usually come at significantly discounted pricing.

I am aware of floor models being sold as you state, Dr. But I actually meant stores using B-stock speakers (instead of unblemished ones) as floor models rather than manufacturers just throwing them out. Then they sell the floor models as B-stock, and blemishes are accounted for in the discounted price.
It wouldn't be common knowledge, but it makes sense.

It wouldn't be common knowledge, but it makes sense. Sure, that's possible but not wise for the seller. That inventory can be moved much faster if it is sold as b-stock/open box right away. Cosmetic blemishes which are noticeable on the floor models can be a possible turn off to the buyer and it also looks bad on the store and its workers in general. Ideally you want everything to be pristine.

I've never seen B-stock/open box items (Paradigm for example) for sale at my local electronics shop, but I've never inquired either.
