I went to get a cup of coffee out of the pot in the office kitchen. The pot was empty, so I passed. Now I'm wondering, did I choose not to make more coffee because I'm lazy or because I have a sense of entitlement? Yes, I hear the reply already - "or both?"
Yeah, these are the things I ponder.

Ha. It was funny, the last time I made coffee. One of the nurses was there and felt like she needed to help. The executive director walked in, laughed, and said, "How many advanced degrees does it take to make a pot of coffee?!"

Yeah, these are the things I ponder. Maybe you need to hire Terry Tate "Office Linebacker"

I know!
I actually thought of him after posting that. If we had him, I'd never have encountered an empty pot.

Sounds like you have a self image problem where you don't want to appear inferior, so you just skipped the task.
