That stupid game. Arg. Too many times I would be on level 4 and then there would be a hole and a monkey blocking the entire path.

Even checked out the "cheater links" in the discussion threads. Nothing worked. Crappy April Fool's to them I say.

Borders is closing many of their stores. I went to the one in Nashua NH today and they have everything 80% off. I bought 16 CDs for $40.

Check out your local HMV's, some of them are closing down and discounting their merchandise accordingly. I also saw some good deals at other HMVs that are NOT closing down, like the Beatles remast's at 2 for $20.

Steam is having a daily 2K sale this week. Today is Mafia (the original) and Mafia 2 + DLC at 75% off.

Decided to snag Mafia for $2.50. Hopefully Borderlands + DLC gets the same treatment.

I enjoyed both Mafia games. As it turns out, I just finished the sequel last night. Excellent atmosphere and a well scripted game throughout. I only wish there were some extras hidden in the city to entice more exploration. The city itself was beautifully rendered.

A surprise for me, and probably the greatest in-game collectible, Playboy magazines are strewn throughout the missions. My only gripe is that these can only be found within the missions. Really detracts from the pacing and tension having to search and search and search for magazines.

Such is the price for dirty pictures.

I enjoyed the linear and story focused gameplay of Mafia II as well. The length was too short however. On the other hand I do love having the ability of choosing from 7+ side missions with the ability to do main missions like in a lot of sandbox games smile.

Well, maybe they will address that in the third installment?

If there will be one, that is.

The second day of the 2K sale on steam is Bioshock 1 and Bioschock 2 at $4.99 each. That is an outright steal!
