Sid, you said you are heading into the peg on wednesday. Where do you live? I'm in Selkirk at the moment but will probably be looking for a house in the south end in the next 6 months.

i'm a Carman-ite actually (home of Eddie "the Eagle" Belfour ) You haven't had any precip yet today? It doesn't look like a great long weekend for camping, they had snow this afternoon in Brandon.

John, have a look at this pic from last week (this is Carman Golf Course)
It has been unusually cold this spring (normals are 20 Celcius for this time of the year).

No rain yet but it's not looking good. I actually have two tee times this weekend so I have my fingers crossed.
Snow in Brandon?
I keep dreaming about moving one day to Alberta or BC. Anyone know of someone who lives in Kelowna? I think I could handle moving there.
Golf 10 to 11 months a year. Hmmmmmmm.

That's actually the same way most people on the Canadian prairies feel John, proud that we're probably the toughest bunch of S.O.B.s on the planet!

That's part of the reason we're so tough John, it's the extremes we have to put up with. I'm sure we'll see plenty of days in July & August that are +100 F with 90%+ humidity. But man, what I wouldn't give for a couple of days like that right now.
