You gotta ask yourself if Valentine's Day is really the very best time for this conversation.

why not, it might actually be the perfect day to ambush a significant other.... i mean, buy some flowers/choclates/ card.... and shes already in a good mood..... so i would say the chances for approval are probably the best today....

i did not look up the pb12nds, i assumed it was on the smaller size...

Unless you had a wife like my first. Nothing I did was ever good enough.

Brian, you're reaching. If there's any weakness in the 60-80Hz area(measured?)it could possibly be due to a room null which would affect any speakers, but certainly isn't due to either your PB12-NSD or your M22s if you're using a 80Hz crossover. The M22 enclosure is tuned to about 55Hz and response is strong to well below 80Hz. The PB12-NSD has strong response to well over 100Hz(not 60Hz). The combination makes for an excellent blend in the area you mention.

Is it me or is that answer just not good enough?

JohnK,

Would you suggest me trying to change the crossover from 80 to say 60 on my M22's or would you think the SVS will be better suited? After all my perceived weaknesses may be due to ignorance, i mean that truly. This has been my first non out of the box HT setup. I have run audyssey since moving in but we have all dryall, blinds (no curtains) and hard wood floors with a roughly 40X20X10 room

OK that is a big room and I suspect the M22's are not really 'working' all that well in that space, you can try to get a little more oomph out of the M22s with a close to the wall placement (1" away or so) for some boundary effect.

When you get the M60's run them at 40 or 60hz (small) and see how it sounds, then try them set to large and the sub setting to LFE + Main and then run the system the way you think sounds the best.

No, leave the crossover at 80Hz. That's where my EP500 and M22s cross and the result is very strong low bass, mid-bass and upper bass(with which the M22s do a fine job).
