Craig, you are perpetually astounding.
Why can't you eat Cilantro?
While I don't disagree about the Ketchup-on-a-hot-dog prohibition, I am interested in your backup. What's with the sources?
Oh, and Happy Anniversary on Super Bowl Sunday.

Jack, unless you too think Brent Everett is hot, I think you're safely straight.
Ketchup on a hotdog?
#1 - The Frugal Gourmet Cooks American by Jeff Smith - he has a section on hot dogs.
#2 - Dirty Harry in the film Sudden Impact - rent it.

Nope! I think Catherine Zeta-Jones is hot, so I guess I'm hopelessly straight.

As soon as I saw Barebacking Across America in the Brent Everett Google search results, I immediately closed the window. Thank goodness it wasn't a Google Image search.

You don't need to be gay not to think she's hot. You'd need to be blind.

It's unfortunate he "starred" in that. That's just completely irresponsible porn.

Here's another ketchup one:
The Straight Dope
Now, I don't agree with the sauerkraut comment--my perfect dog has sauerkraut, mustard (yellow!), onions, and a touch of relish on it. I'm fond of the German sausage, keilbasa, and linguica at Top Dog in Berkeley.
EDIT:
OK, here's the definitive source: The Hot Dog Council. This also implies that my comment above about my favorite dog is inappropriate; those are sausages, not hot dogs. Fortunately, Top Dog also has hot dogs.
Mmm, Top Dog... <drools>

I agree with no ketchup on a hot dog... the two restaurants I worked at to fund my audio, drug and car habits in high school agreed on mustard, onions and relish (and one added cheese standard and bacon) - I personally like wine sauerkraut as well.
On the other side, relish has no place on a hamburger outside of a cafeteria where "pickle packets" aren't available.
At home, I eat my burgers with ketchup, mustard, onions, pickle slivers (garlic dill) on the heel (bottom) and ranch dressing on the crown (top). Chicken/turkey burgers I eat with homemade "chicken grill sauce" (about 2 parts mayo/miracle whip to 1 part italian dressing), a tomato slice and salt and pepper.
A good breakfast on the go - take a sesame seed bagel, cut in half and toast, microwave a beaten egg until cooked, add two strips of ready-crisp bacon from the microwave, salt and pepper to taste. Stole the idea from a breakfast bagel at Great Canadian Bagel here.

>>I wonder how the Korean company 'LG' became so big in the US all of a sudden.
I can answer one of the mysteries. LG was huge as a company called "Goldstar" (actually Lucky Goldstar) -- what they didn't sell under their own brand they made for other people -- when the marketing folks decided that they needed a new name. LG became huge immediately, but the Goldstar group was 50+ different companies when I was working in Korea in the early 90s and I'm sure they have grown from there.
Interesting trivia -- in Taegu, one of the major industrial cities, most of the Goldstar employees eat at the "Hyundai" restaurant. Apparently Hyundai is Korean for "progress", although that isn't why the restaurant is so popular... beer and soju are cheap and the food is great.
There are a few big conglomerates, called "chaebols", in Korea. I thought there were more but I can't remember them all -- Hyundai, Samsung, Goldstar (now LG), Daewoo, and a couple of others. The only difference I remember is that Samsung had armed guards with M16s at all of their R&D centers and everyone else let you waltz in without ID.
