Just noticed while I was watching TV that my M22s are making a popping/crackle noise. It's not consistent in terms of time but every 10-15 seconds or so you can hear a crackle. Any ideas?

Sounds like a connection or source problem, probably not your M22. First, check your cables, speaker wire, etc. Then try playing some CD's, DVD's, etc. to see if you can still hear the snap, crackle and pop--sorry, couldn't resist .

Of course, it could be something inside the M22, but hard to predict.

How are you getting the TV audio to the receiver? Is it a cable box, satellite, or straight TV?

TV audio is notoriously bad.

I get terrible sound from TV audio

if you audio is clean from your CD and DVD player but bad from the TV, check the cables. If this doesn't improve it, you know it's just the source.
