Well, a full week after my system (M60ti, VP150, QS8, Denon 3803) arriving I finally managed a temporary setup of my mains only tonight after work. The setup wasn't perfect, only about 6 feet apart and 6 feet from listening position in our master bedroom. Listened for an hour then tore the whole thing apart again. I was really impressd with the bass performance especially when I know I still have my VTF3 Mk2 to add next month. The mid performance was also really impressive, the word smooth springs to mind. The highs are certainly detailed, not harsh at all, but maybe a little 'bright', not overly so, and not fatiguing during my fairly short audition. Overall they are definitely keepers and I look forward to many hours of extended listening when they are set up in their permanent home in my (currently 85%) finished basement with the rest of the channels. Will post a full review in a couple of weeks.

I've had that same set-up going for two weeks now and can't seem to locate the "off" switch. All I can do is grin. Had some friends over the other night and they sampled a few DVD's so they could compare with their Bose AM7...I'm afraid they went straight home and tossed it in the trash can, if drool and wide-eyed stares are any indicator.

Congrats on the setup. Mirrors mine (I have the VP100). I can't tell you how much I have been enjoying it. I am also having problems turning it off!! I've recently started in with DVD music concerts. Wow! The audio just keeps getting better.

I've had the same setup also, except a Denon 1802, for about 5 weeks now. I still find myself just sitting in the family room listening to everything! Since I just got hit by the U.S. corporate downsizing bug, I have even more time on my hands to listen to music. So glad I have the Axioms to keep me company as I look for a new job.
