You can also pull RG-6 coax if you are able to terminate the ends with RCA connectors yourself. You can also terminate with a male type F connector (the typical TV coax end) and use a type F to RCA wallplate.
Subwoofer Bandwidth is extremely low compared with video, so Coax is a great option (and what bluejeans uses too.)

I also finished my basement and I used Blue Jeans cable throughout. Maybe not the cheapest, but not expensive either. Good quality and customer service that goes a long way; I also bought 2 long subwoofer cables from them... exceptional quality.

Electrohome or energy cables are really cheap. monster speaker wire can be cheap,{16 gage}. but stay away from their connection cables Ie. Coax cables and such they are all push on connections not terminated. Have some collected and all the connectors seem to pull off. It's just pinch on connection.
