Oh, I forgot, another question regarding WiFi. I could not see the AxiomOffice network, so if I want to use outside with no home WiFi, dont know how to connect.
Is there a tip or trick to bring the Air network alive ?
Thanks

Thanks If you have had your unit connected to your home network and then bring it to another location that is out of range of that network, the AxiomAir will automatically turn on the internal hot-spot. You will see both the blue and red LEDs flash, indicating that the system cannot connect to your home network and that it is now in hot-spot mode. From that point simply go into your iOS or computer WiFi settings and click to connect on the AxiomAir-xxxxxx network that you will see listed. In iOS a Safari window will automatically open to a login screen. Simply press Cancel at the top right of the page and then click "Use Without Internet" in the pop-up at the bottom of the screen. You can now select the AxiomAir as an AirPlay device and play music from your iPhone or iPad. Thanks, Andrew

I am not sure if this will help anyone or not, but the Axiom Air's Analog input (and subwoofer out) are my two favorite features.
With the Analog input (switchable in the main menu), my Samsung Galaxy S7 along with a 3.5 mm cable, becomes a true, portable high end system.
For those who are not "into the whole computer thing", it's this simple: Any source you can hear through headphones on your smart phone will play through the analog input on the Axiom Air.
The Axiom Air, used this way, is pretty much a high end system that can go to your patio/deck ... the boat ... anywhere you want to go. And with the battery pack, it's even better.
Saturday night, we did a bonfire with a couple of our injured son's friends. The AA was kicking out some serious jams from Spotify, and everyone was astonished that a "portable" could sound so good.
Don't let a lack of understanding the ins and outs of WI FI scare you - while you are learning those ends of Axiom Air, and while the crew is simplifying the process at Axiom, the Analog input may just get you music nirvana wherever you want it.
We have the 100 pound Fluance FI-70 here, and the AA blows it away in terms of sound quality and output. The Fluance does extend deeper, but it's also NOT portable.

I was able to connect today to my AA on my iPad. Sounds great. I still can't set up airplay on my iPhone 6. Airplay set up screen doesn't come on, any thoughts out there

Michelangelo is going to have a fix for the DLNA in the next few days.
Thanks

I just received my second Axiom Air this week. Awesome.
I realize my tactical error in not ordering the battery on the first unit. Is it possible to order the battery separately and install it myself?

Hi Robvee,
Yes, they are quite easy to install. When you remove the cover where the battery goes the wire will be there to plug into the battery. The cover is replaced by the battery.

Hi Ian, I hate to ask questions regarding a specific order in a public forum, but I sent 2 emails on May 30th after I opened my air and haven't received any response as of yet. I was surprised by the colour of the top on my Air when I got it, and though it seems unlikely, it is possible I somehow selected the wrong colour, but because neither my confirmation email nor my online order status actually showed me my customization details, I wasn't able to verify anything between checkout and receipt of my order. I was curious what you see on your end for the wood/finish selection. Also, the bottom left part of the grill seems to be bent ever so slightly and catches the light when I look at it (image below). If it were uniform all the way across the bottom, I'd assume that's how it is supposed to be, but the right side looks fine. Is this normal, or did something slip through the cracks? Thanks! P.S. The sound on this thing is phenomenal! I can't wait to see how the software evolves to make it even better!
