Just wanted to leave this here I love that Axiom sells speakers for in-cabinet installations. A regular white VP160 goes in the middle. No sub. The M80s should have enough bass response for a family room system.

yes. but i know from experience that without a nice area rug to hide the beauty the echo off the floor will drive you nuts.

Updated picture. There are feet on the bottom of the VP160 that make it hard to fit in the space so i put it upside down and it fits better. I don't really like the way he designed the door on the VP160 because it forces the speaker to sit back in the cabinet an inch. I may have to redesign that part of it. I accidentally order the wrong speaker grills. I need to order some white ones.

Gorgeous job. That thing must be huge. 10' ceilings? I can not show my woman this....I'll be building if I did.

Yes 10" ceilings. The floors are distressed oak. http://dm-flooring.com/product/bisque/To understand the scale the cabinet is designed to fit an 85" TV comfortably. The back wall is the kitchen which is beautiful as well
