Yeah! it looks like you've got two receivers; the HK on top, and another one on the left. Piggy Piggy! How do you like your Sammy? I've got a 43" model, and am very happy with it. Also like the "IWO" memorial in the upper left. I'm a WWII history buff. All in all, very nice.

I like the EC. Beautiful wood. Has an Asian antique look to it - though I'm sure they couldn't have had TVs back then.

Thanks for the kind words and the links. BigJohn it's "24 Hours at a Time" (long version) on the stereo tonight as a salute to you. The receiver on top is the H/K 7200 and like you've read it's a monster. The receiver weighs 53 pounds and the Sammy 68. Apparently it's a space heater also. Ajax, that's a Kenwood receiver on top of a Kenwood CD player at left. They're hiding in shame now. The Kenwood receiver is for using the CD remote only. I love the Sammy and hope it remains problem free. I read a fascinating book on WWII (The Second World War-Clarke?) in my teens, and have continued my interest ever since. Big Will, the EC in the middle dates to circa 1985. To show you where electronics has gone my father purchased it and it held all his audio/video equipment including TV. I removed three pull-out trays, the center partition, two glass doors and two wood doors. The bottom portion puts the TV at the same viewing height as the Samsung stand. The end units actually don't match the middle but they are mighty close.2x6,good stuff.
BigJohn, sub goes in the corner this weekend after some furniture adjustments with the wiring for the QS-8's also scheduled.
