i have never heard the M22s, so i have no thoughts on their "invincibility".. and i agree whole heartedly, all ears hear different.. so carry on!!

I think you have encountered the passion of Axiom owners, and incurred their wrath as well.
In reading your posts, what struck me was the simple attitude with which you have risen to questions - and seemed instantly on the defensive when others posed these questions. You are correct, we all make choices based on our findings. I myself own 4 sets of speakers, with 3 separate systems. Are the Axioms the best sounding I have? Not by a long shot. But the are very enjoyable.
I must admit, the posting of a classified ad was in bad taste.

I sold some black QS8s to Jack (Ajax) so that I could buy some in beech. I posted my intentions here, but in general, posting classified ads here is probably inappropriate.

Yes, but you simply mentioned that you would be selling your black QS8s. You didn't post an ad. If you remember my response to your mention was something like (to be read in a jokingly smirky, sarcastic tone) "OK! I'll bite! how much do you want for them." 
And, I'm here to tell ya folks, he took me to the cleaners. 
Kidding aside, actually, I'm so grateful. The QS8s are the best at what they were designed to do, and I'm very happy to have them.

On another note I just received my Avr-3805 to use with my Marantz mm9000 amp (see MHorgel, thanks for the info Mark) with my HK AVR-7200 hangin around something's gotta give.
