After a period of reflection based on some problems I had with the ordering of M60's, I decided to buy my M3's. I received them yesterday and they arrived in perfect condition (not like my M60's) I was happy to say the least! I guess I had bad luck last time.

The sound is quite different from my 60's (obviously!)However, these are used as a second set for the "B" channel of my NAD 372 to fill up empty space. All these speakers along with my new HSU VTF-2 mk2 make for some fine sound! I do love my M60's and have never been able to find anything remotely close to their sound that did not cost 3000$ or more so this helped!

I cranked mine up with some Jeff Beck "You had it coming" today. Awesome. Happy as the day I got them.

What happened was I ordered them and received what I thought was a factory outlet item as it had glue all over one of the woofers and looked very cheap. That was not so bad as when I called to inform of this, AXIOM sent me another woofer that looked as bad and even had dust all over it. I sent that one back and then they sent me a woofer for an M2! Finally I had to get a little more muscular and eventually they got it right. I still believe to this day I received "B" stock items for "A" stock price as I cannot imagine after inspection that anyone would of sent that to me BUT to be honest these things sound super! I am not saying anything negative towards AXIOM as I have and will buy from them again. I think I was just jinxed and a little disappointed that it had to be me.

The M3's are a great little speaker and I noticed that the fit and finish is better than my M60's somewhat. I am not sure how to really think about all of this but as I said.........the sound is wonderful.

That might not have been glue on the driver,.......... more likely dried gruel, (from working thru lunch).
