Ajax,
Dandy is exactly as you describe of the other cockatoo A very loving and talented Bird. He is only 3 years old and talkes up a storm, then I have my old (GOLDY) he is 28 years old and I have had him since he was 6 weeks old.
Here is a picture of him.

And is Goldy a Parrot? How is his personality? Do he and Dandy get along? And while I'm at it, how deep is the ocean and how high is the sky . 28 years! YIPES! That's like being married (I suspect).

Ajax,
Goldy is a Blue & Gold Macaw and as far as marriage goes we have been married for 40 years as of last June 15th.

koiman, How do the QS8's sound directly behind the couch? Our couch is in a similar position with just about a foot from the rear wall and wasn't sure if two more surrounds would be to close to the listening position. Thanks.

jrmav,
The QS8 sound real good, being that I have two you don't have to worry so much about the sweet spot for the rears the sound envelopes you well, I suppose one would be Ok but I prefered the two.

Another question for anyone that can help. Would two more QS8's put too much strain on my Yamaha V750 (100w x 7)? It is currently set to 8 ohms. Thanks.

Now that's a system to die for! Absolutely beautiful
Curious about the M80's at the rear. Does the sound suffer at all being behind the furniture? I ask as I may have to place an M60 were it could be slightly blocked by a couch.
Cheers, Jag. and thanks for sharing!
