I'm new to this so I was hoping to run by what I was thinking to see if it's a good idea. I already have 2 NHT SuperOnes (bookshelves) that I can use at the front and a NHT Supercenter (center channel)as well as a strong powered sub for the base. I was thinking of getting the QS2's or QS4's for the surrounds instead of NHT surrounds because I love the idea of the quad-directional surround design and great price. Do you think I have to worry about the tonal differences between the Q2 and NHT tweeters not blending well or anything like that? How important is it to make sure all your speakers are from the same line? Also, is the QS4 much better than the QS2? My Receiver is a Yamaha 5590 100w/6 in a medium sized living room.

I would say matching your center and two front speakers is important, however matching the rear speakers is far less important. I had asked a similar question not long ago, and I was told that matching the tweeters for your rear or side surrounds is not really going to be noticeable.
I would go ahead and buy the QS4's. QS8's would be best, but if you can't afford them go with the QS4's.
