I recently purchased an Outlaw 1050 receiver and have been looking for a speaker system. I'm looking to spend around $1k US. Any ideal set ups with Axiom besides the ones they have listed? I have been looking at the Energy's 5.2, Athena Point 5 and the Paradigm system 1 & 2 has anyone compared the Axioms to these with the Outlaw? I'm going to use mainly for movies and I have a 14X14 room. Any comments or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

For 1K, you could get a GREAT speaker array, and it just depends on your musical tastes to determine which speakers are for you. I would suggest either directly e-mailing the Axiom advice address, or contacting Marc Hallam at Audioshop, for the best approach. I also had some success e-mailing the SoundStage network (hometheatersound.com, etc.), who can give you some really unbiased advice if you're willing to have you're letter printed on-line.

If you're looking for Axiom speakers, just buy the best ones you can afford!
