Hi all,
I am ready for my Axiom purchase! It will
consist of M22ti's on 24" stands for the
fronts, VP150 center, And QS8's wall mounted
for rears. All in Boston Cherry. Any advice
on grill colors? Black or Charcoal? There is
nothing in the room to match the covers, so
just trying to decide what would dress up the
speakers a little "nicer". I will be rounding
out these speakers with a SVS sub. Any suggestions
between the 20-39pci or the 25-31 pc-plus. Is the
$175. difference justified for a stronger amp? Will
tuning the 25-31 down, let it drop too, or lower then
the 20-39? Thanks for any input.

Congrats on your decision and welcome. Hopefully you have discussed your choices with Axiom to make sure the speakers and the room size work together.
Without knowing the room size, your sub choices will be tough to comment on. I am using a 20-39 PCi in a 16x22x10 room and it's plenty. A 25-31 PCi would have more headroom, but doesn't get as low.
The PC+ series is more powerful and may not be necessary. However, you should compare PCi to PCi and PC+ to PC+. If you are going to compare PCi to PC+, then it should be the same model (20-39 in both instances). Said anotjher way, your question is really asking to compare apples to oranges. Let me suggest you also call SVS and draw on their expertise.

I've repeatedly (and mistakenly) said on numerous occasions that my M22s are on 24" stands. Not true - they're on 20 inch stands and the tweeters are perfectly set at my ear level when I'm sitting on the couch. This may or may not matter to you, but for me another 4 inches would probably negatively impact the sound. I'm 5'10" and the couch cushion starts at 18".

I had my M22's on 24" stands and quite liked them. Though I tend to prefer speakers higher than lower.
I think you'd be fine with 24".

I like the idea of Boston Cherry with Charcoal grills, sounds very cool. I think people would come into your room and say WOW. Then again, I am just not a fan of black grills in general.

My M22's are on top of a fireplace shelf and the tweeters are at ear level when I stand up. I'm 6'. I can decidedly here a difference in sound when I stand up when I watch a movie. But that is with me sitting on a couch and my ear level is about 2' lower than the tweeters. Still sounds great either way. I would say maybe a little more detailed when standing than sitting. I would think a few inches off on the tweeters would not make a huge difference compared to my system. So I wouldn't worry too much about the stands.
