Hi all: I need a short subwoofer cable and I have a spare three foot digital co-ax cable from my dvd player. Can I use this one for a sub? Thanks,Huck

I don't see why not. Many of us here have used standard coax (RG6 or RG59) for our subwoofer cables, especially for in-wall runs. Then we terminate using rca connectors. So, you should be good to go.

All digital and analog audio sources use a 75 Ohm cable. Any 75 ohm cable will work just fine.
