I certainly don't want to step on any toes belonging to our great hosts here, but I don't think I'm raising a question of which other manufacturers' in the competitive sub market are not already keenly aware…..

I'm looking through a Stereophile ad this morning at the Velodyne subs that allow you to hook up a mic and auto-EQ their response. It's hard not to wonder if Axioms' new subs, with their DSP technology and USB inputs will allow the same sort of function.

Along those lines, I still have not purchased a Behringer Feedback Destroyer to tame my bass issues because of my concern that it will only tame the bass in that on sweet spot. Right now, if I move my meter 2' in to either side, I can have a 15db swing in response. How can an EQ do anything but work for one sweet spot?

Of course, if Axiom does have an EQ solution coming, I'd be willing to beta test it in a really, really tough environment… and if it involves an external unit, provide them with professional photos as well!

HA! Beat you Bray!
