Saw it last night. I've been no fan of the prequels - at all. Big disappointments for me.
ROTS, on the other hand, was pretty good! Not great, mind you, but it just felt like Star Wars for once. Acting somewhat improved, some genuinely moving moments. I look forward to seeing it again.

4th best SW flick ever!
I'd have to say it was a pretty good movie, CGI was simply astounding. Way better than the first two flicks, but still can't touch the org 3.
Simply put, I just feel the org 3 and these new 3 movies are just too disimilar. They each have a different feel, the storys were delivered different so for now on I'm just gonna look at them that way. Actually makes Ep I, II & III more enjoyable to me.

Saw it again tonight. What a phenomenal movie. By far the best space battle in the saga. Looking forward to seeing it again later this week. Man I can't wait for the DVD.

The space battle felt too much like a video game for me to really be engaged by it - the first shot of it, in the atmosphere, was brilliant though.
It's a flawed film in many respects, but it just manages to do enough things right - sometimes pheomenally so (I don't want to talk spoilers, so I'll keep it vague) for me to enjoy it despite its shortcomings.

Looks like ROTS made $16.5 million just on the midnight showings. Not too bad! From what I've read, it looks like it beat out LOTR:ROTK midnight showings by eight million.

I went to an expert for an opinion - My 13 year old son says ROTS was the BEST of the 6 - and Dad agrees with him.
This is the second movie in the past 20 years I will go to twice in theaters. LOTR:ROTK was the other.

Yeah, my daughter's feel the same way. Some of the things they said were, "Sad, awesome, exciting, and tragic." I remember looking over to my wife during the first showing and she was on the edge of her seat. What is also really cool is the cheering at the beggining and the HUGE applause at the end. Great stuff!

Flattery will get you everwhere. LOL!
TNT, sirquack is right, you'll like it. I loved it, and I'm making the trip to see it at a digital theater about three hours away this weekend. Yeah, I know, the sickness is deep.
Anyone else catch it digitally?
