Don't you mean:
"mark did some 'magic' and made it so my grills no longer look pink. bless him, the Freak!" ???

I have a bunch of photos in this thread of Mansfield Beech.

Hi there!

We are still 'in progress' on our new pages, but here are the galleries for the M60s and M80s. The pages aren't finished / ready for the Canadian side of the site, so it will be a little while until they are linked, but I thought it might help you.

Also, check out our Wall'O'Fame by clicking on "Axiom Family" in the paragraph of text at the top of the message board index page - lots of great M60 and M80 shots in there, too!

ya know, i wonder if we should have a "Wall of Shame" where we post pics of our great Axioms but include all the knick-knacks our wives/girlfriends put on the entertainment center that we're too afraid to make a fuss about because then they'll never let us buy more speakers again.

boy, that was rather cathartic!

don't even get me started. My CV D-9's were immaculate until the woman moved in with me. I yelled at her for years for putting crap on them, now they are so scratched up ( at least in my mind) that I need to cover them.

She will never EVER do it again because constantly make her feel like crap for doing it. arg

my wife actually put a couple of things on the top of my 350, but i figured out if i turned the volume and the vibration "walked" the stuff on to the floor she'd move it. worked out pretty well after the clock shattered on the floor!
how wrong am i? (evil cackle)

Wall of Shame, ha!

I'm lucky in that I can direct most of the styling in the house since I do most of the remodeling/purchasing. My system gets to be untouched, except for my 2 year old poking the M22 grilles. :O

If you call Axiom they will send you sample cookies of the 4 standard speaker colours (probably the binding post of tweeter cut-outs) for the speakers). When I got mine, i took the 2 I liked and went to an audio shop and found speakers near the same colour to get a real good idea of what they'd look like. It worked for me. I was leaning towards Manfield beach but once I saw the colour of a full size speaker it looked lighter than I would have thought from just the sample cookie. Given the darkish oak colours in the house I went with popular Boston cherry (my wifes preference). I guess I should have listened to her in the first place.

Happy shopping - Paul
