JohnC,

you're in Italy!
I might take a plane and come and join you. I'm looking to move there in the fall, perhaps. And who knows, I might bring my Axioms with me!

Are there good jobs in IT out there, even for someone without and Italian passport?

Thanks,
Ravi.

p.s. you can email me, if you have the time and patience: crowchild7@yahoo.ca

John:
I just bought the Grand Master System, it hasn't arrived yet, has to cross into Detroit, Michigan. I come to Catania every year and spend some time on the beaches in Siracusa. Italy is nice but like you said the jobs are scarce. I am an Electronic Technician for the United States Postal Service, my job is secure but there is a lot more economic degradation to come.... I will post what I think about the Axioms when they arrive.

JohnC,
You should've dropped someone a line. We could have picked you up the Rat Shack SPL meter and sent it over.

Thanks..I appreciate your offer...I didn't simply because I felt it wouldn't be correct...quite a hassle for you...but I'll keep it in mind next time...just a matter of organizing onself vis a vis of getting the funds over there....

Cheers...

The Axiom system arrived this AM and "only" hooked up the M22's. They are pretty darn nice. I am listening to Fourplay and for such small spaekers they really sound good. It will be a couple days before I get the whole system operational but I am sure it will sound really good. I am using the Marantz 7300 OSI Receiver to power them. I will report back when I have the whole system working. I have been all over Italy but not to Sardenga, maybe next trip! I've been there 9 times and love it.
