First of all let me thank all of you for your advice from my first post a couple of weeks back. It was because of that post that this even happened. I came home Friday to find a piece of paper folded in half with "Happy Father's day" written on the outsite sitting on my computer keyboard.
I opened it to find an Axiom order confirmation. This is where it gets good. In my first post I wondered if M22's were enough for my room size (30x30). Many of you offered suggestions, most of which I figured my wife would never go for. Well, she read the posts and this is what she ordered : 2 Epic 80's, 4 QS8's, the VP150 and the EP500.
Pretty sweet. Now for the wait. She ordered them through the outlet which came up as a 6 week wait for the QS8's.
Is the wait time for outlet orders usually close to what they quote? . More questions to come.

Bravo, bravo, bravo. Congratulations on such a fine gift and obviously knowledgable wife. Maybe the wait won't be too long!

I originally wanted an HK7300 but I think I'll drop down to the 635.

If you can spring for the Hk7300 that is what I would do.That's a pretty big room for the 635 I would think.

The 7300 if you can. Refurbed worked for a lot of us.

Wait time wasn't nearly as long as they quoted for me in two different orders from the factory outlet. . .but don't count on this. They must set the estimated times that far out for a reason.
Congrats on the sweet setup

WOW! Pete, that's a rare and wonderful woman. What a terrific thing to do. If I were you, I'd be sure to keep her. However, if you ever consider trading her in, let me know will ya?
If 6 weeks is the longest wait time for any of the speakers she ordered, you WILL have them by 6 weeks from now. You MAY get them earlier, but not later.
