My HT rm is 12x17x9 connect to a large open dining, kithchen, hall. My plan was to get the M60's as fronts, however what benifit does the 80's have over them. I don't listen as much to music except music/musicals DVD's. I have gone mid level Polks and lived with them and not been really happy.. Mid level SVS and not been really happy, and now Axiom's. I'm told the 60's are great. That's all I need. Plus I'm confused about a low ohm speaker. It seems as people have the when you grow up you can get the M80's. Are they that much better can someone help me out. I have QS8's and the 150 is on the way and I will have a really good sub soon too. If you think I will be stunned with 60's, thanks.. If you think not please let me know..Thanks!

M60's should be fine with a good sub.

Just curious, which SVS 'mid level' speakers did you try?

The more subs the better. My room is 30 x 31 x 9 and I've owned both the 60's and 80's. They both do a great job. The 80's can handle more power and are a bit more detailed due to the dual tweets, mids, etc. Also, the bass is a little better in the 80's, but not night/day different.

OK, so it was an SVS sub, not their speakers...

Are you looking to upgrade the sub as well?

The M60s are stunning. You will think that nothing could possibly be better. I kind of hope I never hear M80s so I can remain in my happy little M60 world without temptation.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Be strong Murph... I've had mine for 9 months and have not had the desire to replace them.

Now repeat after me.

No the SVS speakers I've heard were fabulous in a med sealed room. I was amazed.. And then looked at the price and I started to have real second thoughts as to my set-up as these were soo very affordable. However, I based my system on the highly ranked QS8's and I'm hoping not to be disappointed with the rest of the set-up that I will add.. My buddy said "I couldn't asked for anything more, I'm done.." Man, that's the feeling I want as well, and I'm choosing Axiom.. We'll see... I'm not too worried though, maybe I'll be saying that too, and when he's over and while I'm grin'n at him..

Yes, I'm going to upgrade that sub.. Where should I post it??

Oh, I'm is Vegas..
