The Stone XI Anniversary Ale is fantastic. Like an imperial IPA crossed with a west coast robust porter. Just great.

Well, you'll just have to come visit. 2 bottles of 2004 left, 5 bottles of 2006, 1 bottle of 2005!

Okay I know this way out of the realm of you beer experts, but has anyone tried Budweiser Chelada, Normally I can't stand Budweiser, but I had a sip of this and my first thoughts were, if I every decide to start drinking beer in the morning this may be it.

The best ever of beeradvocate.com:

beer adovacte's best beer ever

It can be found on ebay for about 50-60 bucks for a six pack, plus overseas shipping of course. Who knows how many laws that violates as well.

described by one as :
The taste on first sip has the dark fruits at center stage. Subtly sweet portions of plum, raisin, fig, some dark cherry, a touch of chocolate and cofee(and I do mean just a touch) and a slight bitterness in the form of some citrus near the tail end of the sip and it carries on right through the finish where I also get some of the alcohol that warms the throat during the swallow.

This guy sounds like you audiophile types describing your speakers! \:D

has anyone actually had this beer?

The best beer ever is Creemore Spring Premium Lager. It is a microbrew that can be found in Toronto, and the surrounding region.

It is unpasturized, so it must be kept refrigerated, and generally is drunk within 2 weeks of leaving the brewery.

Other great beers:

Brooklyn IPA (New York)
Upper Canada (Toronto, Southern Ontario)

Talk about the power of suggestion. I saw that the thread had been updated, and even before reading it I headed to the fridge to grab a beer. I had a choice between Spaten Optimator and Red Hook Long Hammer IPA. Since I'm eating a salad, I went with the IPA. \:\)
