If you don't think your own mix is awesome, then what do you have in this life?

An entire catalog of bad music.

There is no bad music. Only inflexible taste.
Damn, does that mean I have to like Rasputina?

You better. Charles will be after you, otherwise.

I have the two sampler requested so far on my desk at work here, waiting to go to the post office.
To answer Peter's question. I went off in my own direction a little bit. I tried to include songs from artists that people in the US, at least, have probably never heard and that best represent the mix of both the traditional Maritime music I grew up with and what it has been modernized into to successfully become a staple of even the younger crowds. Of the many artists I had to choose from, I tried to choose from CDs that sounded the best, but getting the right mix to cover all the bases came first.
I could have filled multiple CDs but had to keep telling myself, this is a "sampler".

With the exception of Avi, everyone else's CD went out today! You can wait impatiently next to your mailboxes until they arrive. I know the anticipation is killing you. . .
Avi, I ran out of blank CDs. Give me a couple of days and you'll be good to go, as well.

Also, I included a paper with a song list in each package. Figured that might be helpful.
This is important
I need to give fair warning that one of my songs has some colorful language. It will be fairly obvious if you peruse the song list. Just a warning in case you have kids.

Oh, I think at least two of the songs on my mix CD have colorful language -- which reminds me that I need to start filtering those out of my playlists as the kids get older and start listening to lyrics....
