He must have skipped that part.I say if you don't like the answer don't ask the question.

In reply to:

Without having first heard them you can't comment on what level the Streem's are on. Entry level? Not from what I've read so far. JBL RW-500's can't hang with these.

.See he didn't closely read what Neverhappy said.He didn't say anything about JBL RW-500's the RW-500 was the model# for the Streem speakers he had heard.

"When some people find out they may not have gotten the "deal of the century" they get a little edgy. It's called "buyer's remorse." Deal with it."

No, I don't have any buyer's remorse at all. I'm 100% happy with my speakers. And I wish you luck with these if you choose to buy them. I'd love to hear your reviews when you do, of course.

So it sounds like you can't go wrong if you think that the price is worth it. I don't know why you're here trying to convince us about it instead of going over to Streem's site to buy your dream package.

The reviews I've looked at all seem to be a bit suspicious. They mostly seem to be around the same dates, posted by people who have no other postings. It very well could be made up from someone at the company who's trying to falsify reviews to make it look like the speakers are really the "deal of the century" that you say they are. Most of the posts seem to be reviews of the shipping boxes, anyway.

So like I said, have at it and let us know what you think of them instead of trying to validate your decision by trying to convince everyone on the Axiom boards that you've found the most amazing thing to happen to home audio since electricity.

Good luck.

Most people here just don't want to see you get ripped off.The point of this whole thread was to find someone that has heard the Streem speakers and you have,Neverhappy has and you didn't read what he actually said. For your money and I'm sure its hard earned you would be better off with something else.It doesn't have to be Axiom's there are plenty of good speaker's you could buy.Its just buyer beware.

Yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. I simply misread the post. I apologize for that. I don't want to get ripped off either! Hee Hee!

That's why I'm here. Chatting on-line ain't costin' me nothin'. Which is about what I can afford right now.

Point also taken. Some of the FS-808 reviews on Audioreview also appear of Streem's "customer reviews" page VERBATIM.

I think you smelled it out. Nice going, dog.

In reply to:

your opinions on its sound quality are nothing but invalid speculation. I came here asking if anyone had ever HEARD them, not whether you could offer an uninformed opinion.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I have heard the RW-500 and they reminded me of mid 80's JBL's. Lot's of bass and not much else.

In reply to:

The only valid knock against Streem so far is that some of their speakers, like the FS-808's, LOOK a little cheap. I like a more refined look too, but looks are not imperative for me. Sound is. So is cost.

The only knock? I have my doubts.
