Speaker Power Handling

A dual steel door protects the rest of the building from the power test room.

This room is where we test the endurance of loudspeakers under high power conditions. Our speaker "torture test" typically uses 100 hours of the heavy-metal group Slayer played continuously.

The M80s were tested with this music for 100 hours at 700 Watts continuous input power, with peaks of 1000 Watts!

We also conduct heat tests in this room, to make sure our electronics can withstand temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius / 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
