My room is 16' X 24' with a 16' ceiling. I initially was looking a the M50s also. BUT, after reading the posts and talking to the Axiom people, they convinced me to upgrade to the M60, VP150, QS8s. Mine are being delivered today!!!
I didn't want to wonder what if? My old speakers are over 20 years old, so I am not one suseptible to "upgrade-itis". That being said, I also believe I would have been happy with the M50s because I wouldn't have known the difference and I KNOW they are 100 times better than what I have.
