I guess I should have mentioned... My livingroom sucks for HT. That's why I've gone with direct radiators.
At the risk of un-hijacking your post I thought I would just add that I think you'll find everyone here would agree that the Qs surrounds are incredibly forgiving of placement. I really think you would be better served, particularily if you have a difficult room, with one of Axioms Qs surrounds. I've read of many posters having the Qs placed in un-optimal positions and report great results.
