Mac, if you mean that now you tried to get SACD output from the digital output on the 2200, it's impossible; for SACD you have to use the multiple analog connections. No, the cables wouldn't cause a complete failure of sound transmission, regardless of whether they're called analog or digital or coaxial or whatever. No "pushing" is involved, and at the short distances involved any type of wire cable easily passes digital CD and DVD-Video sound.
