Just one question.. are the woman and child load-bearing? The kid looks old enough to be out of diapers.

Steve - if you're putting the Algonquins on the pergola - definitely consider the spiced rum color. Your deck looks like it has a similar finish to mine, and the spiced rum blended great there. (even better than it looks below as the flash reflects more off the speaker paint than it does the deck) Jason

Jason, The pic you saw before is the patio, not the upper deck. As of end of work today, the deck now looks like this: The sunroom will be trimmed in white just like the rest of the house. I have pre-wired the speakers to be placed under the eve's, above the one circle you see for lighting (there is another one on the other side of the door that you can't see). So, I went with white here to match the upper deck. But, I'm holding out on the lower patio outside speaker color until I decide what color to stain the pergola. I agree though, I would probably go with the color you suggested, I just want to see the finished product first. By the way, thanks for the picture. I wanted to mount the Algonquins sideways like you did, but I wasn't sure if that would be the right thing to do. Is the sound impacted that way? Steve

Just one question.. are the woman and child load-bearing? The kid looks old enough to be out of diapers. With the size of his watermelon, he could hold up just about anything. And he does bear many "loads" (like his old man!)

The looks awesome Steve, I really do like the stone work .... the outdoor speakers ought to look and sound right at home there. Thanks Rick, and all, for the kind words. The party can be anytime this spring when it gets nice here in Indy again!

Steve - they sound great sideways. No noticeable difference to me either way (though being outside, it really isn't super-critical listening). I doubt you'll notice any shortcomings. They really do sound great.
