Nope never heard of it. I checked out the on-line site. I'm not sure what to think of it yet.

You could have held out for a lot more, Brian.

For a subwoofer for my living room, I'm thinking an EP175 would work for it. The dimensions are 12 x 17 x 10 with a couple of openings to other rooms. I'd like to stick with Axiom and I'm trying to keep the cost at a minimum.

I'll be interested to find out what you think. We don't hear much about the 125 and the 175 'round these parts.

While your living room isn't the largest room we've seen on this board, it isn't all that small either. And while the EP125 & EP175 are designed primarily for smaller area's, I'm thinking that with either unit mentioned you may very well hear the bass notes alright, but I don't know that you'll feel them all that much.
This is just an opinion mind you, I really have nothing to back that claim up. However in your shoes I would probably search for something with a little more muscle. Then again, perhaps you don't need the furniture to shake?

I'm not looking for something really impressive for this room. I plan on a dedicated HT room later. This is just for a more modest setup that I can live with until I can afford the other. Although the other will only be using my M22's with a bigger sub, surrounds, and VP150, which will be more than adequate for that room. I just need something to fill in the missing bass for the on-wall M22's at a modest cost.

Our vacation home (sort of a vacation home) has EP175 with similar dimensions. If anything, it's probably smaller. I wasn't that impressed with 175. I had size limitations so I really didn't have a choice. But keep in mind that I'm rather spoiled and biased by my EP500! YMMV.

Well, if I don't like it, I can always send it back.
