Unless she is an audiophile, I think you would be in.

Standing between two blondes talking about amplifiers would be like standing in a vacuum(tube).
Half of communication is listening. You can't listen with your mouth.

Next comparison test: EP800 vs pmbuko's bass module.

I hope I'm double blinded for that!

I purchased M50's about 6 months ago. Here at home the consensus is that it is the best family purchase in years. They are hooked up to a Yamaha RXV765, 47"Vizio LCD, xbox 360, and as of two weeks ago a Samsung BD C6500 Bluray player. We are always pleasantly surprized at how much we now enjoy music in the house. TV dialog is so much clearer, especially at low volume levels. Due to the room layout/acoustics I don't believe I would experience significant improvement with a center channel. If you want to simply enjoy listening to your music I can highly recommend the M50's. If your looking to set up a dedicated HT I would add in this order, sub(s), surrounds, and then center. Good Luck!

Glad to hear from a happy M50s owner, we don't hear from those often enough. I'm glad you and your family enjoy the speakers.

Well I am certainly thrilled to hear from a happy M50 owner too! I feel like the red-headed step child here with my M50's. Thank you to Jakewash for your answer to my question. So how many other M50 lovers are there on this forum?
